I can't believe how quickly 2010 has come and gone and we are now at the start of a new year!
Normally I'm terrible at setting goals and coming up with resolutions. Partly its because I have a hard time with the normal resolutions like exercising regularly or I think to big and come up with very lofty big goals that are hard to measure...
But when I was thinking about it, I did complete one goal last year. I wanted to learn to knit and crochet! And here I am!!!

I have enjoyed crafting and making things for others. It has become a great outlet for creativity, a way to bless other people with fun things and a way to meet awesome new people!
Something new that I'm adventuring into this year is the world of craft fairs! Thankfully I will be doing this with my awesome friends Marci & Maja. We are starting easy and going to have a booth at 1st Thursday here in Austin. I'm not sure what will happen in this adventure, but I'm excited. In the very least, I'll get to spend some time with my friends!

I wouldn't have guessed that you just learned to knit and crochet this year! Everything you make looks so impressive!
ReplyDeletei learnt both those things last year too! i got the bug :) i love it. my most accomplished piece was the blanket i made. Took so long its hard to get motivated to start another haha
